Livestreaming best practices

When live streaming we are doing everything we can to reduce the latency to your viewers.

Most of the latency is due to transmission across the network, but you can reduce the load during transcoding by sending video that is:

  1. 25-30 FPS
  2. Dimensions are a common 16:9 size (for example: 3840x2160, 1920x1080, 1280x72)
  3. Your network can handle the uplink rate required for your stream.

Happy streaming!
