I have looked at this: GitHub - apivideo/api.video-ios-live-stream: iOS RTMP live stream client. Made with ♥ by api.video (https://api.video) but I don’t know if it needs additional steps to work from an iphone. I look forward to any comments
Hey @chrisjames123 in order to get started with Livestreams, please follow this quickstart guide: Get started with live stream in 5 minutes · api.video documentation
Just make sure to replace OBS with the ios client.
If you are having any additional issues, let me know and we’ll look into it.
Thanks for your reply. Also, just wondering, can this: GitHub - apivideo/api.video-ios-live-stream: iOS RTMP live stream client. Made with by api.video (https://api.video)
be used with Google Cloud or AWS?
Thanks for the additional question @chrisjames123 can you please elaborate what do you mean by “used”?
Can I use the api.video ios live stream client and have the live stream stored in AWS or GCP bucket?
Yes, this is possible, however, it’s fairly possible that hosting the recoding on api.video would be cheaper. All you have to do is to back it up to S3. There’s a guide on cold storage coming very soon.
